The mission of Chapin Women in Service is to enhance the quality of life for all citizens in our community through individual and group related services, community programs and partnerships with other organizations. Our official club statement is “To support and improve our community, help those in need, and leave the world a better place for our having existed.”
Chapin Women in Service is an IRS and state-recognized charity focused on serving our greater Chapin community. We serve by giving of our time and raising money for meaningful local projects. Socializing and friendship are an essential part of the organization, but as a charity, our mission is service.
The Chapin Women in Service (CWS) established in 2020, is a non-profit organization headquartered in Chapin, SC focused on “Doing Good”, “Being Kind” and “Having Fun”.
Through signature events such as our Homes Tour and other creative fundraising efforts, our Fundraising Committee works to strengthen and uplift the Chapin community. All proceeds are returned to the community, helping fund initiatives that make Chapin a vibrant place to live, learn, and thrive.
Here’s what else we are up to:
Our Service Committee brings members together to serve with purpose—offering support to neighbors, partnering with local charities, and responding to community needs. By giving of ourselves, we help create a stronger, more caring community.
Ways we are serving in 2026 include:
The Social Committee keeps our calendar lively with bi-monthly socials and our signature “Fun Friday” events (held any day of the week of course)—because fun shouldn’t be limited to one day! These gatherings offer time to laugh, connect, and create lasting memories together.
Some fun we are having in 2026:
Founded in 2020, Chapin Women in Service is an IRS and state recognized 501(c)(3) charity, focused specifically on our Greater Chapin Community. We strive to serve with kindness and compassion, not only by giving of our time, but raising money for projects – important now and to the next generation of citizens. Every club member is expected to help with our “signature” Tour of Homes fundraiser and join one of our three committees, Fundraising, Service and Social. We invite you to learn more and become a member of Chapin Women in Service.
We meet every 1st Tuesday of the month at the American Legion Post 193 at 11:00am. Doors open at 10:30am for social gathering.
